At the Diamond Jubilee of the Royal College of Pathologists in London, we had the honor to be part of an unforgettable festive day, where we also had the opportunity to present our solutions for digital pathology.
Our CEO Dr. Detlef K.-H. Finkler was pleased to welcome the President of the Royal College, Dr. Michael Osborn, and the Vice President, Prof. Sarah Coupland. Dr. Suzy Lishman gave a fascinating lecture on living autopsy, looking for the effects of our lifestyle on our health. To that end, many students took advantage of the interactive opportunities to improve patient outcomes.
In the evening, things became very emotional when news of the Queen’s death reached the College, of which she was a patron. Michael Osborn paid tribute to her in his speech, as did keynote speaker Shaun Lintern, medical editor of The Sunday Times. A few hours later, we could toast the new King Charles with everyone.
